My daughter has been going to classes at Junior Sports stars for 5 years and there is no sign of stopping. She loves it. The teaching standard, dedication, passion from the coaches is excellent and the gym has the feel of a small family gym. They are so supportive and encouraging to the kids but also have a healthy way of pushing them too to fulfill their potential. We love it there and so glad we found it.

Our children have attended Junior Sports Stars for a number of years with our eldest starting in pre-school as a 2 year old to an active member of the development squad. The coaching is fantastic and she has really progressed and her confidence as a gymnast is going from strength to strength. A special mention goes to Donna, Sam, Dave & Leandro for their amazing coaching and support.

My eldest daughter joined JSS gymnastics sessions in November 2023 and was asked to join a development squad in September 2024. JSS is such a lovely, nurturing and friendly gymnastics club. All of the children are pushed and supported to develop their skills whilst having fun. All of the staff are amazing and their passion shines through. Dave, my daughter’s coach is incredible. All of the girls love him- they have all made an amazing amount of progress! Special mentions also to Leandro, Sam and James who have all shown so much support, patience and care. All of the staff go above and beyond for the children and it’s so appreciated.

My younger daughter is now also at JSS in a development squad and she’s had the same fabulous experience. I would absolutely recommend gymnastics coaching here to anyone.

The facilities are fantastic and the family feel makes the children feel comfortable and safe.

I used to go here but unfortunately had to stop due to upcoming exams being my top priority. I have been doing gymnastics for as long as I can remember and the staff at JSS have made my experience so much more memorable along with friends. Most staff members are nice, but one of them seems to really dislike children, rolling her eyes a lot. But thank you JSS for being such an outstanding place :)

Our first time was a magic suprise! Ellen was full of energy and had prepared a fantastic class for the little ones (and adults too) this was the best gymnastic class we have ever been to! Looking forward to going back next week!

My son has been attending after school football sessions and camps for the last 3 years.

He LOVES it!

This last summer camp we initially only booked a couple of days but he had so much fun he asked to go for more! They did so many activities, kept them busy throughout the day, he finally went to bed at a decent time!

The weekly football sessions are always fully booked with waiting lists. The coaches are amazing. Teaching them new skills whilst having fun. I'm constantly being told - cheeky grin - stories about the coach being "megged" 🤷‍♀️ Plus he gets to spend extra time with his friends. (Also I would like to add that the coaches are always by the gate making sure there is a parent/guardian at pick up before letting the kids out - even for thr fassionably late parents that are running through the gates a few minutes late.)

Management/admin have always been responsive whenever I have contacted them with a query. I've never had an issue and even if I did, our interactions up to now leave me reassured that they will deal with it in the most professional way.

If you are reading this and having seconds thoughts about signing up your child, don't.

I have been taking my 26 months old to the toddler session run by Ellen for past 8 months , she loves it and looks forward to it every single week. She has learned so much over these past months. She had her 2 year development check and the health visitor was pleasantly surprised that she could jump with both her feet above the ground all by herself at this young age. All thanks to Ellen’s effort, she puts so much thought into each session , it has really paid off.

My son liked it. He said the staff are very kind here.

Fabulous holiday clubs arranged by Junior Sports Star at New Islington. We've been going there for sometime and our daughter loves it. Good range of outdoor activities are arranged and encouraged. And lots of indoor fun too on the rainy days. Thank you Katie and Team for doing such a stellar job.

This is always the club that my daughters request.... It doesn't get a better recommendation than that!

Katie the multisport coach is ace. My kids love the club and all the activities including crafts, football and tennis.

My son had an amazing time in the sport camp this week, thanks to Josh and Jack, and everyone who organised, we will be coming back to spend summer holidays in the camp :).

My daughter has had a wonderful week and has had so much fun at junior sports starts holiday club.. all the staff are engaging and welcoming and have made my child feel included during her time there.

Our son always had a great time when he attended the after school football club and holiday club hosted by Junior Sport Stars. He enjoys it so much he actually asks us to book the hol club for him every school holiday 😂

My daughter loves attending the junior gymnastic holiday courses . This week she attended for the whole week and everyday came out with a huge smile and stories of all the things she had learnt. Never once did she say she was bored. Trainers are all fantastic. My daughter has adhd and finds it hard to listen and sit still but everytime she is in a lesson she not only listens she follows instructions and the trainers are great with her.

Absolutely wonderful staff who do so much to make people feel welcome and my daughter absolutely loves it. I am very new and so do not know many names yet but Rick has been extremely kind as has everyone I have interacted with. I lost my headphones and have really poor eyesight, , everyone helped me look for a missing part and so I really appreciate the kindness when I stupidly interrupted a lesson. The facilities are second to none and I look forward to seeing my daughter really flourish and get to know everyone more in future. Great first impression

Our daughter decided to take up gymnastics after picking up a book about it from the library. We thought it would be a phase she would quickly get fed up of. Over a year later we are still here with our little one jumping out of bed each Saturday keen to start her session.

Junior Sports Stars is absolutely fantastic. Our daughter is always made to feel welcome, she is happy and encouraged through the lessons and her skills have developed significantly. The quality and range of equipment is amazing and sessions are fun, engaging and different each week.

She absolutely adores the head coach Rick who has always been very responsive with any questions or queries we have had. The club also has a great team who clearly love working with kids and are good at what they do.

Would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks to all at Junior Sports.
