After-school Clubs

After-school Clubs

The ‘Sport Stars’ Club offers a wide variety of Olympics and non-Olympic sports. The children respond very well to the variety of sports on offer, particularly to the more obscure sports that they may not have played or heard of before.

The children will be taught basic skills and technique in a number of sports through fun games, drills and small-sided games. They will play two or more different sports a week. The sports include Basketball, Handball, Dodgeball, Athletics, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Cricket, Netball, Hockey, Tri-Golf, Tag-Rugby, Tennis and Badminton, as well as fun games and indoor activities.

There is also an on-going award scheme at the 'Sport Stars' Club. Each week there is a medal given out to one person from each age group, the ‘Star of the week’. At the end of each full term every child will receive a graded certificate to recognise their achievements.
